Yea I agree that the squad is pretty good as is. Another big reason we finished 2nd last season is having those crippling injuries to our defense. Who was it? Carrick and Fletcher playing center back for a game or two. The squad is a good squad and if we can stay healthy (Rio) then I think we have just as good a chance of winning as anyone else. The younger players should be a bit better and maybe Owen can bang in another injury time winner against City!

I'd argue that Ibra is waaaaaaaaaay better than Berba, way, but I get the comparison. And I loved Louis Saha. Hell, I've got a Saha jersey that I still wear proud and probably too often. He's not coming back though.

Midfield? Yeah, we need help I think. It's so hard to give up on old Scholes-y though. Just when you think he's done and he's spraying passes into the stands he does something only Scholes can do. Wesley Sneijder is the real deal, but I can't see us prying him away from Inter. As for Ozil, I'm not sure yet. He's going to be way overpriced because of the World Cup.

I do think United would be fine if we didn't add a striker or midfielder though, at least for this season. We came in second this year and if it wasn't for a few calls we could have won it, and don't forget how close we were to the Champions League final. So let's not freak out here. But, yeah, I'd love to see us get some baller, for sure.

I agree that we should pick up somebody but I don't know if Ibrahimovic would work. He seems like another Berbatov and I have serious doubts about the two of them in the same team. I would love to have a healthy Louis Saha back. He was great. I would take Forlan in a second.

I would also like to see the midfield strengthened in terms of attacking options. I think we need a replacement for Scholes. Maybe it is Sneijder or Ozil. Who knows? But I think we need somebody.
